Amanda
Operations Director
Amanda is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and is certified and licensed by the Dental Assisting National Board. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, an Associate of Science in Dental Health Services, and has worked in the field since 2006. She joined our team in 2018 and, like all our team members, strives to deliver an exceptional experience to each person we serve. Amanda oversees the day-to-day operations of Apex Dental Studio, keeping us well-organized and prepared, so your visit is worry-free.
A Detroit native, Amanda moved to Indiana in 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing guitar, and volunteering/fostering with AWL of Kosciusko County and the Emilie Beard Foundation for Felines.
Whitney
Licensed Dental Hygienist, Clinical Leader
Whitney graduated from the IPFW Dental Hygiene program in 2013. Whitney has been working alongside Dr. Vegesana for almost 9 years now and excels in both diagnosis and treatment of periodontal conditions. Her down-to-earth personality allows her to relate with patients & help them understand the condition of their oral health on an individual basis. Anytime that Whitney isn't chairside, she dedicates her time overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of our Warsaw office. She focuses her energy on finding new ways to serve our patients and new ways for our staff to work more efficiently.
Whitney was born and raised in Kokomo and fell in love with her high school sweetheart Jake; they moved to Warsaw and got married in 2015. Whitney and Jake are the proud parents to 2 rowdy boys, Clayton (4 y.o.) & Taylor (2 y.o.), and 1 very lazy Labrador Retriever, Luna Jo!
Becky
Lead Dental Assistant, Clinical Leader
Becky completed her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting as well as her certifications in Expanded Functions and Coronal Polishing at Ivy Tech. Becky has been in the profession for over 12 years. After working 6 years in dental pediatrics, Becky became part of our team in 2018. As our lead dental assistant, she oversees clinical operations at both our Huntington and Warsaw offices. This includes keeping our clinical team organized and efficient as well as providing clinical care to patients. Becky loves our patients and enjoys getting to know them and providing the most comfortable experience possible. Becky enjoys learning new procedures and strives to give optimal patient care. Becky shares her life with her husband, two sons and grandson. Becky is a proud dog mom to three dogs of her own and one grand-pup. Outside of the office Becky enjoys being outside whether its gardening, going to concerts or sitting by the pool.
Kierra
Kierra is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board. She is an Ivy Tech grad with an Associate in Applied Science. Kierra also holds a certificate in Coronal Polishing. Joining the team in December of 2018, Kierra enjoys meeting new patients and making them feel comfortable. She strives to provide excellent patient care, helping those feel confident about their smile. Outside of work, Kierra spends most of her time with her husband, Brandon, daughter Emelia, son Aden, and fur baby Ezra. Cooking and reading are Kierra’s go-to free time activities.
Morgan
Morgan is an outgoing Dental Assistant who moined our team shortly after graduating from South Bend Dental Assisting School in 2020. Since then, Morgan has also received her certification in Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Morgan is continuing her education at Ivy Tech currently to earn her degree in Dental Hygiene. Morgan strives to help our patients feel confident about their smile while providing optimal patient care. In her free time, Morgan shares her life with her two young daughters, Addison and Avery. If there’s one takeaway from your visit, it will be a welcoming experience full of laughter as Morgan has an endless sunny disposition.
Amy
Amy joined our team in April of 2021 after passing her national board exams and completing her licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant. Amy graduated from Indiana University Dental Assisting Program where she achieved a solid foundation in oral health education which now allows her help teach patients proper dental hygiene practices and answer clinical questions with confidence. With a passion for dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Amy brings a unique set of skills to our community. Amy's strongest quality is that she always finds a way to communicate and connect with a diverse range of patients, no matter if it's in English or Spanish - both of which she speaks fluently. Ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their entire appointment is Amy's highest priority.
Amanda
Sterilization Technician turned Chairside Dental Assistant, Amanda has a new passion for direct patient care. Amanda takes pride in her ability to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and hopes to calm any anxieties that patient might experience while in the dental chair. When Amanda is not working, she spends her time with her husband-to-be & bonus babies Kinsley and Zayden. She also has two fur babies - Sir and Sunday. Amanda enjoys reading, volunteering with hospice patients, and teaching the Bible to Kinsley and Zayden.
Zoe
Zoe is the newest member of #TeamApex. She's a recent graduate and has already attended additional courses for Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA). EFDAs are certified to place fillings after the dentist has cleaned the decay from a tooth. She's excited to provide excellent patient care at both our Warsaw and Huntington offices. Outside of the office, Zoe can be found hanging out with her friends and family. She loves to paint with water colors and spend time outdoors - her favorite outdoor activity is kayaking.
Rosio
Rosio graduated in 2022 from South Bend Dental Assisting School and recently became certified in Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application. Her time spent chairside has allowed her to additionally better assist our patients as our newest Patient Relations Coordinator. Many times, she's able to provide answers to treatment questions before the patient even finishes checking in. Outside of work, Rosio enjoys spending time with her husband Lucas, their two children Luke (6 y.o.) and Celeste (4 y.o.) and gentle giant Great Dane, Dale. Rosio loves puzzles and making bracelets with her kids. Rosio also enjoys baking in her free time. The entire Apex crew rates Rosio's "everything but the kitchen sink" cookies with a solid 5 stars!
Veronica
Veronica is an incredible bilingual asset to our Patient Relations team and was recently promoted to Lead Administrative Specialist. If there's a question that Veronica can't answer, she's commited to finding you an answer promptly and returning your call by end of business day. After finding her love for dentistry working at a non-profit dental clinic in Fort Wayne, Veronica has been determined to learn everything there is to know about dental insurance in order to provide our patients the lowest out of pocket costs. Veronica is a proud pup mom who enjoys wearing matching sweaters with her dogs. In her spare time, Veronica enjoys working out, spending time with family and listening to her favorite artist, Bad Bunny, who she has full intentions to marry someday.
