Co-Director of Operations
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

She goes by many names but "Beck" is our fave. After earning her Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting from Ivy Tech, Beck received additional certifications in Expanded Functions & Coronal Polishing and Topical Fluoride Application from Ivy Tech South Bend. She worked in pediatric dentistry for 6 years before joining #TeamApex in 2018 where she quickly committed to her "forever dental home." Even before stepping into her current Operations Leadership role, Beck always loved serving our Warsaw and Huntington patients as Lead Dental Assistant. She enjoys getting to know the community members and creating the most comfortable experiences possible for them. Her greatest strength is mentoring our staff with her vast knowledge in dentistry and she is always looking for new ways improve the lives of our clinical team. She shares her life with her husband, two sons and adores her grandkids & her doggos above all else. Outside of the office, Beck enjoys doing anything outdoors - whether its gardening, going to concerts, or sitting by the pool.

Whitney

Co-Director of Operations
Licensed Dental Hygienist

Whitney graduated from the IPFW Dental Hygiene program in 2013. Whitney has been working alongside Dr. Vegesana for over a decade now and excels in both diagnosis and treatment of periodontal conditions. Her down-to-earth personality allows her to relate with patients & help them understand the condition of their oral health on an individual basis. Anytime that Whitney isn't chairside, she dedicates her time overseeing the day-to-day operations. She focuses her energy on finding new ways to serve our patients & new ways for our staff to work more efficiently. Born and raised in Kokomo, Whit and fell in love with her high school sweetheart Jake before moving Warsaw & getting married in 2015. Whit & Jake are the proud parents to 2 rowdy boys, Clayton (5 y.o.) & Taylor (3 y.o.), and 1 very lazy Labrador Retriever, Luna Jo!

Amanda

Human Resources Manager

Amanda, or as most of her friends call her, "Mandi," keeps our team running smoothly behind the scenes, balancing the many responsibilities that helps our office grow. As our Human Resources Manager, she handles everything from employee support to onboarding, and she also plays a key role in managing our providers’ insurance credentialing & contract administration. A Detroit native, Amanda moved to Indiana in 2014 and began working with Dr. Vegesana where he quickly realized that Mandi’s attention to detail, organizational skills, and approachable nature would make her an essential part of his patients' & staff's success. Whether she’s coordinating HR needs or navigating the complexities of provider contracts, she does it all with a smile. In her spare time, you can find Mandi playing with her cat kiddos, volunteering/fostering with Emilie Beard Foundation for Felines, enjoying a good book, or playing guitar.

Administrative Manager

Managing our Warsaw and Huntington administrative teams, Michelle ensures that our offices run smoothly. From scheduling and patient communications to ordering supplies, her leadership and commitment to excellence help create a welcoming, efficient experience for every patient. Michelle's positive attitude and diligent work ethic help keep our patients and staff members smiling.

Kimberly

Lead Administrative Specialist - Warsaw

Kimberly is the heartbeat of our Warsaw front office, ensuring every patient’s visit runs smoothly from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. With her warm personality and exceptional organizational skills, she keeps our team on track and our patients feeling valued. Outside of the office, Kimberly is a proud mom to her son, Maverick, who keeps her life full of energy and adventure. Whether she’s coordinating patient schedules or making sure the smallest details are handled, Kimberly’s dedication and positive attitude shine through in everything she does. We’re lucky to have her as the friendly face and steady hand leading Warsaw's administrative team.

Cadence is one of the newest smiling faces to join our front office team. As Patient Relations Coordinator, she is dedicated to making every patient feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Brittany

Patient Relations Coordinator

Brittany is the welcoming voice and smile that greets our Warsaw patients and makes them feel right at home. She helps ensure every visit is a positive experience, from the first phone call to the final follow-up. Brittany loves connecting with patients, answering their questions, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for at every step. Her warm personality and dedication to excellent service help create the friendly, inviting atmosphere our office is known for.

Heidi

Patient Relations Coordinator

Dedicated to making every patient feel valued from the moment they walk through the doors of our Huntington office, Heidi's skills far exceed that of the responsibilities of a typical administrator. Heidi helps schedule appointments, answer questions, and ensure each visit is as smooth and stress-free as possible all while maintaining a positive attitude and spreading joy with her conagious laugh. With her friendly personality and genuine care for others, Heidi builds strong connections with patients and helps create the warm, welcoming environment our office is known for.

Maria

Insurance & Billing Coordinator

Maria joined our team with the opening of our Huntington location in September 2023. She enjoys meeting new people and working closely with our patients to help them understand their insurance coverage, maximize their benefits, and navigate the financial side of their dental care with ease. Her attention to detail and commitment to #TeamApex has warranted a recent promotion from Huntington's Lead Administrative Specialist to Insurance & Billing Coordinator of Warsaw and Huntington operations. Whether she’s answering questions, resoving claims issues, or coordinating with insurance providers, Maria’s goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our patients. She has been married to Leaf since 2011 and has 4 children: Maddison, Levi, Liam & Lynnox. She is also a blissful gigi to Genevieve. In her free time she enjoys camping, cooking, shopping and vacationing with the family.

Clinical Manager

Amy joined our team in April of 2021 after passing her national board exams and completing her licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant. Amy graduated from Indiana University Dental Assisting Program where she achieved a solid foundation in oral health education which now allows her help teach patients proper dental hygiene practices and answer clinical questions with confidence. With a passion for dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, Amy brings a unique set of skills to our community. Amy's strongest quality is that she always finds a way to communicate and connect with a diverse range of patients, no matter if it's in English or Spanish - both of which she speaks fluently. Ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout their entire appointment is Amy's highest priority. Rewarding her hard work and consistent dedication to #TeamApex, Amy has been promoted from our Lead Dental Assistant in our Warsaw office to the Clinical Manager of both the Warsaw & Huntington teams. Outside of work, Amy loves to spend time with her family and spoiling her kiddos Liam & Lucas. 

Kierra

Lead Dental Assistant - Warsaw

Kierra graduated from Ivy Tech in 2018 with her Associate Degree in Applied Science and certifications in Expanded Functions as well as Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application Kierra. Even after joining the OG team roster in December of 2018, Kierra found time for continued education and commited to staying up-to-date with the newest trends in dentistry that improve the lives of our patients. In 2023 she completed certifications from the Academy of GP Orthodontics assists Dr. Vegesana with improving patients' alignment helping them feel confident about their smile. Due to her consistent committment to our staff and patients, Kierra has recently been promoted to our Warsaw team's Lead Dental Assistant. Outside of work, Kierra spends most of her time with her husband, Brandon, daughter Emelia, son Aden, and fur baby Ezra. Cooking and reading are Kierra’s go-to free time activities.

Morgan

Lead Dental Assistant - Huntington

Morgan is an outgoing Dental Assistant who joined our Warsaw team shortly after graduating from South Bend Dental Assisting School in 2020. Since then, Morgan has also received her certification in Coronal Polishing & Fluoride Application from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Morgan's been trusted to help both our Warsaw and Huntington patients feel confident about their smile while providing optimal patient care. In addition to helping our clinical schedule run smoothly, Morgan encourages our staff to continue learning & spends a lot of time spreading knowledge of her clinical skills. Morgan has such a passion for teaching that she also is a clinical instructor at Oceanpointe Dental Academy of Indiana, preparing future generations of dental assistants to be the best they can be. Outside of work, Morgan shares her life with Preston & their 2 young daughters, Addison and Avery. 

Kirsten

Chairside Dental Assistant

Kirsten trained hands-on as a chairside dental assistant with the help of Dr. Vegesana & our "legacy DAs". She passed the DANB Radiation Health and Safety exam to obtain her Dental Radiogrpaher's license last summer and has quickly become an invaluable member of #TeamApex. Kirsten has a passion for learning and is eager to grow her skills. When she’s not helping her team, she’s busy making patients feel welcome and cared for. We’re excited to see Kirsten continue to develop into a confident and skilled dental assistant.

Lori

Chairside Dental Assistant

Lori brings skill, dedication, and a caring touch to every patient interaction. A graduate of Fort Wayne's Ross Medical Education Center, she puts her training into practice each day to help patients feel comfortable and cared for. Lori’s attention to detail and gentle approach make her a trusted member of our clinical team. Whether assisting chairside or preparing for procedures, she works hard to ensure each visit runs smoothly from start to finish.

Rosio

Chairside Dental Assistant

Rosio graduated from South Bend Dental Assisting School in 2022 and soon after earned certifications in Coronal Polishing & Fluoride Application. Her time spent chairside has allowed her to additionally better serve our patients as a part-time Patient Relations Coordinator. Many times, she's able to provide answers to treatment questions before the patient even finishes checking in. Outside of work, Rosio enjoys spending time with her husband Lucas, their two children Luke (8 y.o.) and Celeste (5 y.o.) and her 2 dogs Dale & Bernie as well as their newest cat Celeste. Yes, Celeste the human insisting on adopting a cat previously named Celeste! Rosio loves puzzles and making bracelets with her kids. Rosio also enjoys baking in her free time. The entire Apex crew rates Rosio's "everything but the kitchen sink" cookies with a solid 5 stars!

Chairside DA Apprentice

Jayme brings a bright smile and a sunny disposition to our office. As one of our younger team members, she’s full of energy, always eager to learn, and ready to help wherever she’s needed. Patients love her friendly nature, and her teammates appreciate the positivity she brings to every shift.

Amanda

Sterilization Technician

Dual trained as a Sterilization Technician & Chairside Dental Assistant, Amanda has a passion for patient care. Amanda takes pride in her ability to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and hopes to calm any anxieties that patient might experience while in the dental chair and ensuring our patient's health by overseeing our sterilization processes. When Amanda is not working, she spends her time with her husband-to-be & bonus babies Kinsley and Zayden. She also has two fur babies - Sir and Sunday. Amanda enjoys reading, volunteering with hospice patients, and teaching the Bible to Kinsley and Zayden.

Emily

Licensed Dental Hygienist

With 13 years of experience, Emily has built a career centered on exceptional patient care. She is passionate about creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient while delivering thorough & personalized treatment. Her gentle touch, combined with her deep knowledge of oral health, helps patients feel at ease and confident in their care. Whether educating patients on prevention or providing clinical expertise, Emily is dedicated to helping every smile shine its brightest. Outside of work, Emily spends her time with friends & family, her 3 sons, 2 dogs, and a few adorable grand-dogs. 

Alejandra

Licensed Dental Hygienist

Alejandra brings both skill and compassion to her role as a dental hygienist. Bilingual and dedicated to patient care, she strives to make every patient feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for. With one year of experience, she is already building strong relationships and providing thorough, personalized treatment.Ou tside the office, Alejandra enjoys spending time with friends and family, and she’s currently finalizing preparations for her wedding to a fiance that also works in the dental field. Her kindness, professionalism, and warm personality make her a valued member of our team.
